With the cooperation of the Naikan Mirai Kenkyukai (Inner Shipping Future Research Association), we have constructed a next-generation cargo vessel that is both energy-efficient, reduces CO2 emissions, and eases the burden on crew members.

The highlight of the ship is its container-type batteries.

This is the first attempt to use it only as a power source for equipment and living quarters, without using it for propulsion.

The winch and hatch cover are electrified so that they can be powered by batteries.

On the propulsion side, a highly efficient propeller and energy-saving appendages, which are rare for a 499GT, are installed.

It is equipped with steer jets (thrusters) that enable shorter docking and undocking times.

At Baliship 2023, the ship was exhibited at Imabari Port and was visited by approximately 3,000 people.

Details about this vessel are also available on the YouTube channel of the co-owner, JRTT.

Thank you very much to all those involved in the construction of this ship!
