Article 2 (Acquisition and Use of Personal Information)

 

Our company acquires and uses personal information within the scope of the following purposes. If we use personal information beyond the scope of these purposes, we will obtain the consent of the individual in advance using appropriate methods.

2. Concluding and fulfilling contracts related to the purchase and sale of ships, as well as related business communications

3. Providing information about ship conditions, market information, price appraisals, and consulting services related to transaction proposals

4. Providing after-sales service, support, and necessary communications related to ship brokerage services, maintenance, and other related matters

5. Preventing fraudulent activities or contract violations, or reviewing transaction history and contract information to ensure proper transactions, and refusing services when necessary

 

We may only change the purpose of use if it is deemed reasonable in relation to the previous purpose. In the event of a change in the purpose of use, we will notify users by our prescribed method and publish the updated purpose on our website.

 

Article 3 (Management and Protection of Personal Information)

 

Personal information will be managed strictly, and, except in the following cases, will not be disclosed or provided to third parties without the consent of the individual. 4. When subcontracting all or part of the handling of personal information within the scope necessary to achieve the purpose of use, to ensure smooth business operations

5. When personal information is provided due to a business succession resulting from a merger or other reason

6. Other cases as permitted by law

 

Article 4 (Shared Use)

 

Our company will not provide or subcontract personal data to third parties without prior consent of the individual, except in cases exceeding the scope of use purposes or in the cases mentioned in items 1 through 6 of the previous article.

 

Article 5 (Disclosure of Personal Information)

 

When a user requests disclosure, correction, or suspension of use of personal information based on the Personal Information Protection Act, we will confirm that the request is made by the user and disclose the information within a reasonable period. (If the requested personal information does not exist, we will notify the user accordingly.) However, this does not apply if we are not obligated to disclose, correct, or suspend use under the Personal Information Protection Act or other laws.

 

Article 6 (Procedure for Changing the Privacy Policy)

 

Our company will periodically review and strive to improve the content of this policy. Except as otherwise provided by law or this policy, we may change the content of this policy. The revised privacy policy will take effect when notified to users by our prescribed method or posted on our website.
